What does Fingertip Formulary Mobile cost?
Fingertip Formulary Mobile is a completely free application and service.
What information can I look up once I have downloaded Fingertip Formulary Mobile to my PDA?
After making your personal health plan and drug selections
on the Fingertip Formulary website, you may download the formulary
data onto your PDA. Each time you sync your PDA, the current formulary data for your selected health plans will be
transferred to your PDA. In addition, clinical drug information and contact information for each health plan is also included.
How do I install Fingertip Formulary Mobile on my PDA?
Installation is quick and easy. Installation instructions are available for the Pocket PC and
Palm.
What computer operating systems is Fingertip Formulary Mobile compatible with?
Currently, Fingertip Formulary Mobile is compatible with Windows XP and Windows Vista (Pocket PC only). Unfortunately, at this time,
Fingertip Formulary Mobile is not supported on the Macintosh.
Can I remove Fingertip Formulary Mobile from my PDA after installation?
Yes. To permanently remove the application from your PDA do the following:
- Go to "Add or Remove Programs" on the computer where you installed the Fingertip Formulary Mobile software and navigate to Fingertip Formulary Mobile for Pocket PC
- Click the button "Change/Remove"
- Select the option "Remove"" and click the button "Next"
- Click the button "Ok"
- Click the button "Finish" to complete uninstall of the application.
How do I get my desired plans and drugs on my mobile device?
Log in to www.FingertipFormulary.com and add the desired health plans and
drugs to your personalized plan and drug lists.
Sync your device and they will be saved on your device.
How do I update the formulary data on my PDA?
Just plug in your device to your computer and sync it.
How accurate is the formulary data?
Maintaining up-to-date formulary data is our business. Our staff of pharmacists continuously updates our formulary data each day.

How often should I sync my PDA?
Since formulary data changes frequently, we recommend you sync it once a day.

How much memory will Fingertip Formulary Mobile use on my PDA?
You will need 5 MB of free storage on the Pocket PC device and Palm device to receive error-free performance. You will need a
computer with 64 MB RAM (recommended is 512 MB) and 10 MB of free hard disk space to install the software.
Will Fingertip Formulary Mobile slow down my PDA?
No, Fingertip Formulary Mobile was built on sleek technology which should not affect the performance of your PDA.
What types of PDA are supported by Fingertip Formulary Mobile?
At this time, only Pocket PCs are supported by Fingertip Formulary Mobile for Pocket PC and only Palm PDA's are supported
by Fingertip Formulary Mobile for Palm. Smart Phones (e.g. Palm Treo) are not supported.
Is Fingertip Formulary Mobile available on wireless, internet-connected PDA's?
Fingertip Formulary Mobile will work on wireless, internet connected PDA's provided the data update process is done via HotSync / ActiveSync.
You may also use Fingertip Formulary Mobile on Blackberry and other devices in which you can view a webpage.
